Beaches of Boracay and undiscovered Mindoro

From 1500 eur

Seven thousand islands, heavenly beaches, crystal clear water, colourful fish, tropical jungles and possibly the friendliest people on Earth.

The Philippines is for many a synonym for “paradise” as well as the quintessence of uniqueness. All across those seven thousand islands there is always enough sun, cooling clear water and palm tree shade for everyone. Diving enthusiasts can choose from a range of beautiful coral reefs, sunbathers can relax on the whitest sandy beaches they have ever seen. It would also be hard to find a better place for a good massage or to sample delicious cuisine the Filipinos have truly mastered those arts.

Flight from Europe to Philippines via Hong Kong.

Welcome to Manila

Mapa Impreza Zabytki

Arrival in Manila,– “The Pearl of the Orient”. This is a colourful chaotic city full of contrasts. Do whatever takes your fancy – see a cockfight or take a long walk around the colonial Spanish district. Enthusiasts of exotic cuisine can get lost in Chinatown where the local specialties satisfy even the most sophisticated palates.

Mindoro Island

Leżak Nurkowanie Snorkeling Statek

Transfer to Mindoro Island where you will see the true meaning of the word “paradise”. The interior is comprised of mountains covered in lush tropical jungle, whereas the coast is all about white soft sand stretching into the turquoise water of the South China Sea. Our favourite hotel is situated only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Sabang, which has all the night-life attractions you could wish for. At some point we recommend taking a tuk-tuk to White Beach where you can eat as many delicious grilled bananas as you wish. Keep in mind that Mindoro is renowned for its diving possibilities fans of that sport will surely appreciate the location.

Return to Manila and transfer to the next idyllic island.

Beaches of Boracay

The island of Boracay where you land today is by many considered to be the essence of a tropical paradise. Wherever you point your camera, you'll take fabulous photos of coconut palms, stretches of pristine beaches with the Sulu Sea as a background. Grab a glass of papaya juice, swing in a hammock and let yourself forget the whole world.

If you don't really feel like leaving the beach, we suggest relaxing in the nearby bars. Diving courses, excellent massages, romantic sunsets and perfect spots for kite-surfing are only some examples of the great choice of attractions on Boracay. Whatever your dream holidays are, you will certainly have fun here!

Goodbye, Philippines

Return to Manila, last shopping and a traditional Filipino barbecue. Wash it down with delicious Lion beer!

Return flight from Manila to Europe.

The above travel plan is just an example of what you might expect when travelling with Planet Escape. We tailor each travel plan to the individual client’s needs and we carefully select the right beach, accommodation, activities and the length of stay to suit your individual requirements.

A hotel situated in the heart of the action, surrounded by multiple restaurants and the city highlights. There is access to such facilities as jacuzzi, gym and wi-fi. Helpful staff will be happy to provide you with all the information regarding transport, places to eat, tourist sites or anything else you would like to know. This hotel is a perfect springboard for exploring the secrets of Manila.

This resort is located next to the private beach of Behiya on an area of 10 hectares of tropical jungle just on the coast. Everything here is constructed from natural materials. Apart from the white sand and charming hills covered with palm trees you can find a cooling hotel swimming pool. All can be summed up in one word –- relaxation.

Our favourite spot on the Philippines, all built with bamboo. The resort is surrounded by a charming garden full of orchids – its shadow ensures a welcome rest after long hours of sunbathing. The beach is situated literally a minute's walk from the hotel and the surroundings are peaceful and silent. The helpful staff will treat you to excellent Bintang beer and offer any advice you need.

Filipinos love to eat. Usually they eat five times a day – fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and seafood are available everywhere, making the range of dishes to choose from extremely wide. The shortest and most adequate description of the local food is: delicious and cheap. Particularly worth recommending are the grilled prawns as large as your hand and the most delicate fish under the sun. Apart from that, don't miss adobo –- chicken meat with coconut milk and kare kare –- a meat and vegetable stew cooked with peanut sauce. For those with a sweet tooth, an exquisite dessert is waiting. It is known as halo-halo and consists of corn, coconut, ice and tropical jam. Bon apetit!
